Anagram of what?

William Tunstall-Pedoe

"Madonna of the Rocks" - one of the paintings in the Louvre. Solving this anagram is one of the first puzzles that is solved in the novel and the movie.

As I've mentioned the dark con of man is also used in the movie as a description of the theory behind the book.
